Rockwell Mansion, Milledgeville, GA  (circa 1838)

Preservation South has been engaged to guide the rehabilitation of Rockwell Mansion in Milledgeville, GA., an architectural landmark.  Rockwell is one of the finest examples of transitional Federal to Greek Revival architecture in Georgia.  Its interiors inspired by Minard LaFever’s pattern books, have had portions removed to the Winterthur Museum.  This project will strive to return the home to its original grandeur.
